Mayan Hands is a Fair Trade organization founded in 1989.  This company is currently working with over 200 women in 13 communities in the Guatemalan Highlands  who seek to bring their families out of extreme poverty.  For them, weaving is a tradition handed down generation to generation.  Mayan Hands helps them to find the markets to sell their woven goods made the traditional way.  Their baskets also bring tradition to the 21st century uses and needs.

ENCANTADA POTTERY crafted by a small family-owned ceramic workshop in the state of Guanajuato in Mexico.  Behind the large wooden gate, women artisans are hand painting unfired ceramics while men work the kilns, as they have since the late 70’s.  Each piece has personality from the dots and swirls to the hand painted logo on the bottom.
